PARTICIPANT COMMENTS:
From a business owner and entrepreneur:
I had the pleasure of being a coachee in the Guide to Greatness Individual
Career Excellence (ICE) program with Cyndi Laurin over a period of three
months. I found Cyndi to be disarmingly and genuinely gifted. Cyndi has
a notable knack for asking “the perfect question,” and complements that knack with being a great listener. Cyndi is a profound thinker, possessing a rare skill in “meta-thinking” – i.e., thinking about thinking. These skills, along with her background in organizations, quality, and “greatness,” give her a kind of power to go right to what matters.
Cyndi’s perfect questions and apt homework assignments helped me obtain substantially greater clarity on both short- and long-term plans for my career and my business (including some crucial marketing matters) than before I had started to work with her.
Among her many talents, she is clearly a natural at coaching. I’ve rarely known anyone who is so engaged…with her work and with life in general. That engagement was always present in our ICE sessions. Cyndi otherwise has a delightful demeanor, and is an undauntable go-getter. She is unafraid of challenges. That alone is an inspiration. But Cyndi goes well beyond that. Her extraordinarily set of qualities make for one heck of a career coach.
In all, ICE was simply invaluable to me, and I would recommend it, without hesitation, to anyone who seeks to grow a business, improve a career, or ponder a future.
